Verdion develops, acquires and manages industrial and logistics properties throughout Europe – from major business parks to highly specialised structures tailored to the needs of manufacturers, small- to medium-sized companies, internet retailers, and logistics providers. We currently have projects with a total area of some 1.48 million square meters under construction or in planning. Examples of our recently completed projects in Germany include a production and research facility in Weilheim (near Munich) for Xylem, an international water technology provider, and a new headquarters and factory in Emstek (in the northwest corner of Germany) for bicycle manufacturer Kalkhoff. Verdion is headquartered in London and has additional offices in Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Copenhagen, Stockholm and Gothenburg.

The Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP) is our funding partner for Javelin Park. HOOPP manages the retirement assets of more than 380,000 healthcare workers in Canada and invests in European logistics real estate as part of its portfolio.

Verdion and HOOPP already work in close partnership on projects throughout Europe in the way that is being proposed for Javelin Park, with HOOPP financing the site purchase and development before holding it long-term, while Verdion develops and manages the asset.
